Mr. J. R. Singal, our Managing Director sets up a bicycle brake shoe manufacturing plant in Ludhiana, Punjab.

The First Shipment
The first shipment of components and accessories leaves for foreign shores.

Eastman Industries Limited starts exporting bike parts & complete bikes to Argentina and Ivory Coast

The sister concern Eastman Cast & Forge Ltd. Takes birth to manufacture hand tools and forging. The company besides being exporter to Europe also sells to OEM such as Honda, TAFE, Tata Moters, Kirloskar, Mahindra & Mahindra, New Holland (Ford) and L&T.

1999 Eastman receives National Export Award from the Prime Minister of India Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. A recognition from Govt of India to manufacturing and an export oriented company, An honour shared among twenty companies in India. Eastman Industries Limited won Focus LAC Award for outstanding Export performance in 1999, Eastman Industries Limited wons National Export Awards for excellence in Exports.

Eastman decided to incorporate- Eastman Industrial Company for export of two wheelers and their spare parts- Now the company called Eastman Auto Group

The Launch of Eastman Auto & Power Limited
Eastman Auto & Power Limited holds automotive, batteries and solar products under its umbrella. Although the auto group began in 2002, the comany was formally launched in 2006

Tractor linkage parts & farm parts production started for domestic and export markets.
